This is not a post any of us ever considered we'd have to write on a gaming community's forum; but unfortunately I have some news to pass on today.
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Andycowpat passed away suddenly on Saturday 29th October 2016.
Something we're only learning about after his passing is that it would seem he was suffering from depression, and some time over the weekend Andy succumbed to his personal battle.
Depression and suicide are regrettably not given enough attention in our modern-day world, and there is a stigma among most that depression is something to be ashamed of, when it's certainly not. It is a battle that a great deal of us will face at least once in our lifetime, and you should never feel like you have to face it alone.
There are a great deal of services available to anyone who may be feeling a bit down, a couple I can strongly advocate for are RUOK and Beyond Blue. They are both fantastic services to deal with, even if it's just having an anonymous chat over the phone with someone on the other end.
We are all friends here, and this news may affect each of us differently; certainly feel free to send me a PM if you'd like to have a chat about this, or life in general!

I know we may have ultimately only been a small part of the life of Andy, but I'll try and pass on any comments you do leave to his family in a few days time.
